It’s been 11 years since Craig and Jimmy stepped on a ferry to travel to France to install some worktops for a customer.
The customer lived in London where we had previously installed worktops in his permanent residence, he was so impressed with the service that he paid for us to travel to his holiday home in Coursan in the south of France.
The van was loaded with all our tools and the granite slabs ready to work on when they arrived, and then they drove to Dover to get the ferry to Calais. They allowed 4-5 days for the whole job, so while it took them away for almost a week it was a great experience.
They had the villa to themselves while they worked, they had to template, cut, prepare the worktops and install them on site. The material the customer chose was 30mm Tan Brown granite. Luckily it was beautiful weather and the villa had a pool for them to cool off in.
